Mihoyo just confirmed the date for Genshin Impact’s Version 2.2 special program. The livestream is set to take place this Sunday on 3 October, and Thoma – which is likely a playable character in the new update – will be making an appearance too.

As the teaser image below shows, Version 2.2 is dubbed “Into the Perilous Labyrinth of Fog.” Thoma is also pictured in the teaser alongside Lumine and Aether, the female and male versions of the Traveler respectively.

Since Thoma is featured in the teaser image, there’s a very good chance the Pyro character (as revealed in the Inazuma storyline of Genshin Impact) will be a playable character in Version 2.2. After all, Mihoyo previously teased the character too.

According to Mihoyo, the Version 2.2 special program for Genshin Impact will also feature “juicy details about new game content and developments in Version 2.2.” As usual, redemption codes (and other goodies) will be given during the livestream as well.
