Looking for an affordable Windows tablet? Good news: Microsoft’s latest Surface Go 3 is now available for pre-order here in Malaysia. Though it has the same design as its predecessor, it is now faster than ever, thanks to a selection of newer processors.

Three variants of the Surface Go 3 are offered in Malaysia. The most affordable model with an Intel Pentium Gold 6500Y processor, 4GB of RAM, and 64GB of storage costs RM1,888. Early birds who pre-order this variant will also receive a wireless speaker and portable vacuum cleaner for free.

The mid-tier Surface Go 3, on the other hand, upgrades the RAM and storage to 8GB and 128GB respectively while retaining the same processor for RM2,588. As for the highest-end model, it has a faster Core i3-10100Y processor with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage for RM2,988. Pre-orders of these two variants will be bundled with a USB-C hub and a Logitech M331 wireless mouse.

As mentioned, the Surface Go 3 is practically identical to the Surface Go 2 with the exception of newer, faster processors. That means it still has a 10.5-inch 1920 x 1280 PixelSense display with a 3:2 aspect ratio; perfect for productivity tasks. The tablet also runs on Windows 11 with support for Windows Hello facial recognition.

The Microsoft Surface Go 3 is now available for pre-order in Malaysia on Shopee and Lazada. According to the product listings on these two e-commerce sites, the Windows tablet is expected to start shipping from 5 October onwards.
