Shopee just sent out a press release for its new food delivery service, ShopeeFood. Set to be available in Klang Valley from 24 September onwards – though the service is already live in certain locations – ShopeeFood will be accessible to over 8 million residents in the area.
To celebrate the launch of ShopeeFood, early birds can claim a number of discount vouchers right here, not to mention 10 free delivery vouchers with no minimum spend. However, do note that these vouchers are only valid until 23 September, so if ShopeeFood isn’t offered in your area yet, you’re out of luck.
Although ShopeeFood has just been launched, quite a number of eateries are already available through the food delivery service. These include Starbucks, Tealive, A&W, Burger King, Nando’s, and even local street food stalls. Of course, depending on where you’re located, some of these eateries may not be available.
“We are delighted to include food delivery as part of the Shopee experience. Malaysians can now shop for all their essentials online, enjoy entertainment on Shopee Live, play their favorite game on Shopee Prizes, and satisfy their cravings via the app,” said the COO of Shopee, Terence Pang.
To check if ShopeeFood is available in your area, you can look for the ShopeeFood icon on the home page of the Shopee app. Unfortunately, there’s no word on the availability of the food delivery service outside of Klang Valley.
