Asus continues its collaboration with DJ Alan Walker with this gaming laptop: the Asus ROG Zephyrus G14 Alan Walker Special Edition – G14 AW SE, for short. As its name suggests, this variant of the G14 is designed in collaboration with Alan Walker, making for a rather unique-looking laptop.

One of the standout design elements of the Zephyrus G14 AW SE is its lid, which features actual fabric bits with Alan Walker’s and ROG’s brandings. Aside from that, the AniMe Matrix LED array on the lid has a unique “Spectre Blue” shade too, which is exclusive to this machine.

What’s even more interesting is the acrylic packaging of the special edition Zephyrus G14: it doubles as a DJ deck. As Asus puts it, there are “conductive pads on the surface that allow users to trigger 18 of Walker’s own sound effects” through the ROG Remix software. You can even import your own effects to the software.

Beyond these unique touches, other specifications of the G14 AW SE are the same as the regular laptop. These include a 14-inch QHD IPS display with a 120Hz refresh rate, an AMD Ryzen 9 5900HS processor paired with 16GB of RAM, 1TB of PCIe SSD storage, and an Nvidia GeForce RTX 3050 Ti GPU.

No word yet on exactly how much the Asus ROG Zephyrus G14 Alan Walker Special Edition will be priced at, though Asus Malaysia did confirm that the special edition laptop will be made available in Malaysia as early as next month in September 2021.
