Honor just introduced its latest flagship smartphones, the Honor Magic 3 and Magic 3 Pro. These are the Chinese company’s first high-end phones after its split from Huawei, so they will ship with Google’s apps and services out of the box.

Let’s start with the higher-end phone of the two, the Magic 3 Pro. Powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888+ chipset, you can expect to get flagship-level performance out of this phone. On top of that, it feature a 6.76-inch 2772 x 1344 OLED screen with a fast 120Hz refresh rate; the panel meets HDR10+ standard too.

Other specifications of the Magic 3 Pro include up to 12GB of RAM, two storage options (256GB or 512GB), a quad camera system (50MP primary + 64MP telephoto + 13MP ultra-wide angle + 64MP monochrome), a 13MP selfie camera, a 4,600mAh battery with 66W fast charging, as well as an IP68 rating.

For the most part, the standard Magic 3 shares the same hardware and design as the Pro model, though it does have a number of differences. It has a slightly older Snapdragon 888 chipset, 8GB of RAM, 128GB or 256GB of internal storage, and an IP54 rating. Oh, it also loses the 64MP telephoto camera.

Price wise, these premium flagships carry equally premium price tags. The Honor Magic 3 retails from €899 (about RM4,475), while the Magic 3 Pro starts at €1,099 (approximately RM5,470). At the time of writing, there’s no word yet on the Malaysian availability of the Magic 3 Pro series.
