Acer just launched a new variant of the Acer Swift 3 in Malaysia. Previously available with a 14-inch display, you can now get the productivity laptop with a much more sizeable 16.1-inch screen – it looks quite sleek too with minimal screen bezels.

Two variants of the Swift 3 are available in Malaysia. The base model with an 11th generation Intel Core i5-11300H processor paired with 8GB of RAM retails at RM3,699, while the faster Core i7-11370H configuration with 16GB RAM costs RM4,599.

Beyond the different processor and RAM capacity, both variants of the Swift 3 share the same hardware. The display, for one, is a large 16.1-inch 1920 x 1080 IPS screen; it also covers 100% of the sRGB colour space. Weighing 1.7kg with a 15.9mm thin chassis, it’s quite a portable laptop too despite its large display.

Other specifications of the Swift 3 include integrated Intel Iris Xe graphics, a 512GB PCIe NVMe SSD, up to 11.5 hours of battery life, and Windows 10 Home out of the box. This productivity laptop comes with the full version of Microsoft Office Home & Student 2019 as well.

The new Acer Swift 3 will be available for purchase in Malaysia next week on 3 August from Shopee. Those who purchase the laptop on 3 or 4 August will also receive a complimentary Gateway Pro Wireless Headset worth RM239.
