Initially launched in Malaysia a couple of months ago, the Redmi Note 10S is now available in a new colour. Dubbed Starlight Purple, it’s quite a unique shade of purple – Xiaomi said it is “suitable for users who are looking for a unique and outstanding smartphone design.”
Beyond the new colour, the Redmi Note 10S in Starlight Purple is no different from the standard model. It still offers 128GB of internal storage and 8GB of RAM for RM899; a decent price tag for a mid-range smartphone.
Aside from that, the Redmi Note 10S is also packed with a vibrant 6.43-inch 1080p AMOLED screen, though the refresh rate is only locked at 60Hz. This mid-ranger is powered by a MediaTek Helio G95 processor too, which should offer a reasonably good level of performance.
Rounding out the specifications of the Redmi Note 10S are a quad camera setup (64MP primary + 8MP ultra-wide angle + 2MP macro + 2MP depth), a 13MP selfie camera, as well as a generous 5,000mAh battery with support for 33W fast charging.
The Redmi Note 10S in Starlight Purple will be available in Malaysia from 3 August onwards. To recap, it retails at the same price point as other colourways of the mid-range phone at RM899.
