Now this is a surprise collaboration between Mihoyo and Guerrilla Games: Aloy from Horizon Zero Dawn is coming to Genshin Impact. Dubbed “Savior From Another World,” Aloy will be a 5-star Cryo character in the game, and she will also be free to everyone.

That’s right, Aloy will be free to every player on Genshin Impact! However, there are a number of caveats. She will first be available to PlayStation players – who have reached Adventure Rank 20 or above – once the Version 2.1 update is live. After you’ve acquired her through the in-game mail, she will be available to play on other platforms as well.

Of course, Aloy won’t just be available to PlayStation players. Once Version 2.2 of Genshin Impact is live on 13 October, everyone who hasn’t received the character will receive her through the in-game mail. The same rule still applies: you need to be at Adventure Rank 20 or above to get her.

Aside from Aloy herself, a free 4-star bow, Predator, will also be offered for free. However, this weapon is exclusive to PlayStation players. When alloy equips Predator, it will give her a special buff as well.

To recap, Aloy will be available in Genshin Impact once the Version 2.1 update is live to PlayStation players first for free. As for players on other platforms, they will receive the 5-star Cryo archer in Version 2.2 of the game from 13 October to 24 November 2021.
