It’s finally official: Samsung will be holding its next Unpacked event next month on 11 August. Based on the teaser image of the launch event, we can expect the South Korean company to unveil two foldable smartphones: the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 and Z Fold 3.

While the teaser image looks quite simple, it’s definitely a reference to Samsung’s two foldable smartphones. The outline of the Z Fold 3 and Z Flip 3 are clearly shown in the image, not to mention the “get ready to unfold” tagline.

Many details of the two foldable smartphones have been leaked. The Z Fold 3, for one, is said to be compatible with Samsung’s S Pen stylus. Beyond that, its design is mostly the same as its predecessor, the Z Fold 2.

As for the Z Flip 3, the exterior design of the phone will supposedly sport a dual tone design now for certain colourways. The secondary display on the outside of the foldable phone will also be slightly bigger for better usability.

Aside from the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Z Flip 3, the Korean company is expected to unveil new smartwatches and wireless earbuds as well. The Galaxy Unpacked livestream on 11 August will be livestreamed on Samsung’s various platforms, including its YouTube channel, Facebook page, and even its website. The virtual event will start at 10PM Malaysian time on that day.
