Huawei is set to launch another Android tablet in Malaysia soon. Set to arrive here on 27 July, the MatePad 11 is quite an intriguing tablet with a reasonably fast Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 chipset and an equally fast 120Hz screen.
In fact, Huawei said that the MatePad 11 is the company’s first tablet to ship with a 120Hz screen. The 10.95-inch display itself is quite sharp too with a 2560 x 1600 WQXGA resolution IPS panel, so you’re getting a good quality screen with this tablet.
Aside from that, the MatePad 11 is also powered by the aforementioned Snapdragon 865 chipset. Granted, it’s not the newest or fastest SoC in the market now, but it’s still a very capable processor. After all, it was Qualcomm’s 2020 flagship chipset.
Rounding out the specifications of the MatePad 11 include three choices of expandable storage (64GB, 128GB, 256GB), a 13MP rear camera, an 8MP selfie shooter, a sizeable 7,250mAh battery, and it runs on HarmonyOS 2 – still based on Android – out of the box.
No word yet on exactly how much the Huawei MatePad 11 will retail at once it is launched in Malaysia on 27 July. We’ll just have to wait until then to find out.
