The Ikki68 Aurora custom keyboard from Wuque Studio has received quite a number of special edition colourways, but none of them (in my opinion) is quite as sleek as this latest one. Enter the Ikki68 Aurora x Stargaze, which is now available for pre-order in SEA via iLumkb – only 50 units are available.

Limited to only one order per household, the Ikki68 Aurora x Stargaze retails at S$246; that’s about RM760. For that kind of money, you’re getting the Ikki68 case itself, a hotswap PCB, an aluminium plate, a storage case, a coiled USB cable, as well as stabilisers with matching colours.

Aside from the unique Stargaze theme – it’s worth noting that the back of the keyboard glows in the dark too – this special edition Ikki68 Aurora is not all that different from the regular version. It’s still a gasket-mounted keyboard which can be customised to offer a soft or firm typing experience; it’s quite a unique implementation.

Other features of this special edition Ikki68 Aurora include a polycarbonate case, support for screw-in stabilisers – this is generally preferred over plate-mounted ones – as well as underglow RGB lighting. If you want, you can even get the Tromso PCB as an add-on, which offers Bluetooth connectivity.

The Ikki68 Aurora x Stargaze is now available for pre-order on iLumkb for the SEA region; it’s set to start shipping to vendors sometime in February 2022. Given that there are only 50 units up for grabs, you may want to act fast if you like how this custom keyboard looks.
