MacBooks With Mini-LED Displays Supposedly Launching in September 2021
July 1, 2021 Andrew Cheng

Apple first used a mini-LED display on its product with the M1-powered iPad Pro, but this may change in the near future; as early as September, in fact. According to a new report, the Cupertino company is preparing to release two new MacBook Pro laptops with mini-LED screens.

This bit of info came from Digitimes. Citing an anonymous source, two suppliers (Zhen Ding Technology and Tripod Technology) will be ramping up production of mini-LED panels for the 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro laptops.

The report also mentioned that these two MacBooks are expected to hit the market in late Q3 2021, so we may be looking at a September launch. Typically, Apple introduces its new range of iPhones in September, though the company only introduced the iPhone 12 series in October last year.

Nonetheless, the prospect of two new MacBook Pro laptops being introduced in the next couple of months is certainly exciting. After all, rumours are suggesting that the new laptops will be sporting an all-new design, though there’s always a chance these rumours could turn out to be false.
