Xiaomi Mi Notebook Pro X 15 Official – OLED Screen, RTX 3050 Ti, From 7,999 Yuan
June 30, 2021 Andrew Cheng

The Xiaomi Mi Notebook Pro X 15 has just been launched in China. Sporting a bright, vibrant OLED screen, a reasonably powerful graphics card, as well as good value for money, this is quite an attractive premium laptop.

Two variants of the Mi Notebook Pro X 15 are offered. The base model with an Intel Core i5-11300H processor paired with 16GB of RAM and a 512GB SSD retails at 7,999 Chinese yuan (about RM5,140), while the higher-end Core i7-11370H configuration with 32GB of RAM and 1TB of SSD storage goes for 9,999 yuan (approximately RM6,430).

Given the premium appeal and features of the Mi Notebook Pro X 15, these are really quite good price points. After all, for that kind of money, you’re getting a sharp, vibrant 15.6-inch 3456 x 2160 OLED display with a 16:10 aspect ratio; perfect for productivity tasks. This panel also has a peak brightness of 600 nits.

Aside from that, both variants of the Mi Notebook Pro X 15 are powered by the same Nvidia GeForce RTX 3050 Ti GPU. Not only do you get RTX-specific features like ray tracing and Deep Learning Super Sampling (DLSS) with this graphics card, you can even run AAA games reasonably well.

At the moment, the Xiaomi Mi Notebook Pro X 15 is only available in China. Even though it’s unlikely the premium laptop will be officially available here in Malaysia, we reckon grey importers will eventually bring it in.
