Huawei Watch 3 Series Malaysian Pre-Orders Open 25 June – From RM1,699 to RM2,199
June 24, 2021 Andrew Cheng

Huawei’s latest smartwatch, the Huawei Watch 3 and Watch 3 Pro, will be available for pre-order in Malaysia from tomorrow onwards on 25 June. Retailing from RM1,699, these are certainly positioned as premium smartwatches, and they are Huawei’s first wearables running its own HarmonyOS operating system too.

Of course, the RM1,699 price tag is for the standard Huawei Watch 3. The more premium Huawei Watch 3 Pro with a titanium construction and longer battery life, on the other hand, costs RM2,199.

Early birds who pre-order the Watch 3 will also get a Huawei FreeBuds 3i wireless earbuds with an EasyFit 2 Nylon Strap in Distilled Blue for the watch (worth RM548), while the Pro model is bundled with a FreeBuds 3 instead with the same strap (worth RM828).

As mentioned, the Watch 3 Pro, in comparison to the standard Watch 3, features a more premium build quality courtesy of the titanium construction. It also has longer battery life – up to 21 days, or five days with 4G enabled – as well as more accurate GPS tracking.

Beyond these differences, the Watch 3 and Watch 3 Pro have the same specifications. These include a 1.43-inch circular OLED screen, a rotating crown that can be used to control the smartwatch (similar to the Apple Watch), a temperature sensor, a heart rate tracker, an SpO2 sensor, as well as eSIM support.

Of course, these two smartwatches also run on Huawei’s own HarmonyOS operating system out of the box, which features a grid-style interface – again, very similar to Apple’s watchOS.

The Huawei Watch 3 and Watch 3 Pro will be available for pre-order in Malaysia from 25 June at 10AM to 6 July on Huawei’s own online store, Shopee, Lazada, as well as Senheng. To recap, the Watch 3 costs RM1,699, while the Watch 3 Pro retails at RM2,199.
