Huawei just launched its latest high-end tablet in Malaysia, the Huawei MatePad Pro 12.6. Sporting an OLED screen with a new HarmonyOS 2.0 operating system, early birds who purchase the tablet will also get freebies worth RM1,747.

Only one variant of the MatePad Pro 12.6 is available in Malaysia, which retails at RM3,999 for 256GB of storage and 8GB of RAM. It will be available for pre-order from today until 17 June, and those who are early enough will get RM1,747 worth of accessories as well.

These include the new second generation Huawei M-Pencil, Huawei Smart Magnetic Keyboard, a Huawei-branded backpack, a three-month subscription to 50GB of Huawei Cloud Storage, and a month of Huawei Video VIP access.

As its name suggests, the MatePad Pro 12.6 features a sharp 12.6-inch 2560 x 1600 OLED display. It’s also powered by the Chinese company’s very own Kirin 9000E chipset. Not only does the chip offer 5G connectivity, it’s built on a 5nm process too, promising good power efficiency.

Other specifications of the MatePad Pro 12.6 include a very generous 10,050mAh battery with support for 40W wired charging (27W for wireless), a dual camera system (13MP primary + 8MP ultra-wide angle), an 8MP selfie camera, as well as a new – but still based on Android – HarmonyOS 2 operating system.

The Huawei MatePad Pro 12.6 is now available for pre-order in Malaysia until 17 June for RM3,999; it will hit store shelves the following day on 18 June. To recap, early pre-orders will receive RM1,747 worth of freebies, and you can place your order on Huawei’s own online store, Shopee, or Lazada at 12PM later today.
