Initially unveiled back in November last year, the Glorious GMMK Pro custom mechanical keyboard is finally coming to Malaysia. Pre-orders for the keyboard kit is now open locally, and it retails at a reasonably good price.

Retailing at $170 (that comes up to about RM700) from Glorious itself, the GMMK Pro is listed at only RM739 for the Malaysian market by renowned retailers Dotatech – which is actually the authorised retailer for Glorious’ products locally – as well as ETECH PC on Shopee.

However, only a single unit of the White Ice GMMK Pro is available from each retailer at the time of writing.

One of the biggest selling points of the GMMK Pro is its gasket-mounted plate, which promises a “unique haptic and acoustic experience.” It also has a CNC aluminium case to give it solid build quality and a premium feel. After all, most custom keyboards at this price point come with plastic cases.

Other specifications of the GMMK Pro include a hotswap PCB to easily swap between different switches, a 75% layout, support for both screw-in and clip-in stabilisers – it is pre-installed with Glorious’ own screw-in GOAT stabilisers that are pre-lubed – a USB-C connection, as well as QMK and VIA compatibility for easy key customisation.

According to Dotatech’s listing of the Glorious GMMK Pro on Lazada, the custom keyboard is estimated to arrive in Malaysia on 30 June 2021.
