Those in AstraZeneca 1.0 Waitlist Can Register Again Tomorrow (26 May)

If you’re currently in the waitlist for the first AstraZeneca opt-in, take note: you can actually register again tomorrow on 26 May for the second session. This is especially convenient if you want to select when and where to get the COVID-19 vaccine.

This was revealed by the Jawatankuasa Khas Jaminan Akses Vaksin COVID-19 (JKJAV) itself in a Tweet. According to the post, those in the waitlist don’t have to register again for the second AstraZeneca opt-in – their appointments will be given in due time – but they can do so if they want to choose a particular date and location.

Waitlist from AZ 1.0 for Selangor and Kuala Lumpur, do not need to book again as you will be slotted in automatically for AZ 2.0. However you are free to book again if you want to choose a date and location.

To recap, the second AstraZeneca opt-in will be open for those above the age of 18 tomorrow (26 May) at 12PM, though it is only available to residents in Selangor, KL, Penang, Sarawak, and Johor. If you meet the criteria, you can register for the COVID-19 vaccine over here at 12PM tomorrow.
