If you’re an existing Astro customer, good news: you can get Disney+ Hotstar for only RM5 per month. On top of that, Astro also said that it is currently working to integrate the new streaming service to its Ultra and Ulti connected boxes later this year for added convenience.

Of course, there is a caveat to this. In order to get access to Disney+ Hotstar for RM5 per month, you would have to be subscribed to Astro’s Movies Pack. If you’re already on the Movies Pack, your monthly bill will be automatically charged an additional RM5 for access to the new streaming service.

In order to gain access to Disney+ Hotstar with your Astro Movies Pack subscription, you’ll need to go here from 1 June onwards and login with your Astro ID. You can then activate your Disney+ Hotstar membership with your mobile number, which will be used to log into the streaming service.

Do note that if you’re currently subscribed to Astro’s Movies Pack, your monthly bill will automatically be charged an additional RM5 even if you don’t activate your Disney+ Hotstar membership with Astro. While RM5 per month for the streaming service is good value for money, folks that don’t plan to use it may not be thrilled by this change.
