Honda Malaysia Recalls 77,708 Units for Faulty Fuel Pump – 2018 to 2020 Models Affected

Own a Honda vehicle? Then you may want to read on. Honda Malaysia just issued a recall involving 77,708 units over faulty fuel pumps. If you’ve purchased your Honda model between 2018 to 2020, you may be affected.
This recall exercise is a preventive measure to avoid any possible issues with the affected models’ fuel pump. These include difficulty in starting the engine, loss of engine power, or the vehicle completely stalling. According to Honda Malaysia, no accident or injury has occurred from this issue.

Of course, Honda models that are currently on sale now are not affected by this recall. Those who own models that are affected, however, will be contacted by Honda Malaysia. Naturally, replacement of the fuel pump for affected models is free of charge. All related charges for the replacement will also be borne by Honda Malaysia itself.
