Aside from the 2021 Asus ROG Zephyrus G14, Asus Malaysia also detailed the local availability of another RTX 3060 gaming laptop: it’s a new variant of the Asus TUF Dash F15. But unlike the G14, the Dash F15 is far more affordable with potentially better gaming performance as well.

Two new variants of the Dash F15 are available in Malaysia. The RM4,699 base model features an Intel Core i5-11300H processor paired with 8GB of RAM, 512GB of SSD storage, a 15.6-inch 1920 x 1080 IPS screen with a 144Hz refresh rate, as well as an Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060 GPU with an 85W TGP. It’s worth noting that this is higher than the Zephyrus G14’s 80W TGP, so the F15 (theoretically) offers slightly better gaming performance.

If you want a faster processor and more RAM, you can opt for the RM5,499 configuration of the Dash F15. Basically, you’ll be paying RM800 more to upgrade the processor to a Core i7-11370H chip. You also get double the RAM at 16GB, but other specifications of this variant remain the same as the aforementioned base model.

Those who want the absolute best value for your money should really consider the Core i5 variant of the Dash F15. After all, it is an RTX 3060 gaming laptop with a reasonably high 85W TGP, and the Core i5-11300H processor should be able to keep up with the GPU. However, considering upgrading the RAM to 16GB; 8GB is really the bare minimum here.

Both variants of the Asus TUF Dash F15 will be landing in Malaysia next month in April 2021, just like the 2021 ROG Zephyrus G14. To recap, the base Core i5 model of the Dash F15 retails at RM4,699, while the faster Core i7 configuration costs RM5,499.
