Video: KBDfans KBD67 Lite Review
February 24, 2021 Andrew Cheng

We’ve reviewed KBDfan’s excellent KBD67 Lite, but if you’ve been waiting for the typing sound test, here it is. Sporting a gasket mounting system, screw-in stabilisers, and a budget-friendly price tag, this is one keyboard to look out for those who are new to the custom mechanical keyboard scene.

As we’ve mentioned in our review, the KBD67 Lite is really one of the best budget custom keyboards in the market now. It provides a softer, “bouncier” typing experience than the NovelKeys NK65 Entry – thanks to its gasket mounting system – and the KBD67 Lite’s screw-in stabilisers are much more secure and tight than the NK65’s plate-mounted stabilisers.

However, even though the KBD67 Lite is one of the best budget custom keyboards right now, it’s a hotly contested segment with more competition arriving later this year, such as Wuque Studio’s very promising Ikki68 Aurora. We’ve pre-ordered that keyboard, and we can’t wait to see how it compares to the KBD67 Lite.

If you’re keen to get the KBD67 Lite, watch out for the second round of pre-orders sometime next month in March 2021.
