Asus just revealed the Malaysian pricing of its most unique (convertible) gaming laptop yet, the Asus ROG Flow X13. Retailing from RM5,999 to a whopping RM13,499, the Flow X13 is definitely not meant for those looking to get a budget-friendly gaming laptop.

Three different configurations of the ROG Flow X13 are offered in Malaysia. The base model (RM5,999) features an AMD Ryzen 7 5800HS processor paired with 16GB of RAM, 512GB of SSD storage, an Nvidia GeForce GTX 1650 GPU, as well as a 13.4-inch 1920 x 1200 touch-enabled IPS screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and 16:10 aspect ratio.

Moving up the price range, we have the RM6,499 configuration of the ROG Flow X13. Compared to the base model, this variant actually offers better value for money. For only RM500 more, you’re getting a faster Ryzen 9 5900HS processor and double the SSD storage at 1TB. In our opinion, this is the model to go for if you want the most value for your money.

Last but definitely not least is the range-topping ROG Flow X13, which is the only configuration to be bundled with the ROG XG Mobile. Retailing at a steep RM13,499, you’re getting an even more powerful Ryzen 9 5980HS processor paired with 32GB of RAM, a 1TB SSD, and a sharp 13.4-inch 3840 x 2400 touch-enabled screen, albeit with a 60Hz refresh rate.

As for the XG Mobile external GPU enclosure itself, it’s packed with a beefy RTX 3080 mobile GPU with a high 150W TGP.

The Asus ROG Flow X13 with the Ryzen 9 5900HS processor (RM6,499) can now be purchased in Malaysia. The Ryzen 7 5800HS base model (RM5,999) and the range-topping Ryzen 9 5980HS configuration (RM13,499) with the ROG XG Mobile, on the other hand, will only arrive here by the end of February 2021.
