Samsung just revealed the Malaysian pricing of the Samsung Galaxy S21 series. As expected, the new flagship smartphones cost quite a bit more than their respective predecessors, with prices ranging from RM3,699 to a whopping RM5,899.

Of course, the RM3,699 price tag is for the most affordable device in the series – the standard Galaxy S21 – which comes with 256GB of storage and 8GB of RAM. The Galaxy S21+, on the other hand, costs RM4,299 for the same storage and RAM capacities. As for the range-topping Galaxy S21 Ultra, it costs RM5,299 for the 256GB + 12GB model, and an eye-watering RM5,899 for the 512GB + 16GB variant.

These are steeper price tags compared to the previous Galaxy S20 series, but for that kind of money, you do get some high-end hardware. The S21 Ultra, for one, features a 6.8-inch 1440p Dynamic AMOLED 2X screen with 120Hz adaptive refresh rate, a 5nm Exynos 2100 processor, a quad camera system (108MP f/1.8 primary + 12MP f/2.2 ultra-wide angle + 10MP f/2.4 telephoto sensor [3x zoom] + 10MP f/4.9 telephoto [10x zoom]), a 40MP f/2.2 selfie camera, and a generous 5,000mAh battery.

As for the Galaxy S21 and S21+, both devices have similar hardware. These include 6.2-inch and 6.7-inch 1080p Dynamic AMOLED 2X displays respectively – complete with 120Hz adaptive refresh rate – the same Exynos 2100 processor as the Ultra, a triple camera system (12MP f/1.8 primary + 12MP f/2.2 ultra-wide angle + 64MP f/2.0 telephoto [3x zoom]), a 10MP f/2.2 selfie camera, and a 4,000mAh (4,800mAh for the S21+) battery.

To recap, the Samsung Galaxy S21 retails at RM3,699, while the Galaxy S21+ and Galaxy S21 Ultra go for RM4,299 and RM5,299 (RM5,899 for the 512GB model) respectively. These phones are available for pre-order in Malaysia right now, and early birds will also get the Galaxy Buds Live – the new Buds Pro for those who pre-order the S21 Ultra – and Galaxy SmartTag for free.
