As promised, Xiaomi Malaysia revealed the retail price of the 34-inch Mi Curved Gaming Monitor for our local market today. Set to go for RM1,999, it’s not quite as affordable as expected, but it does offer a number of attractive features at this price point.
For one, the Mi Curved Gaming Monitor has a 34-inch 3440 x 1440 VA panel (that’s a 21:9 aspect ratio) with a high 144Hz refresh rate. Thanks to this wide aspect ratio and high refresh rate – along with the 1500R curvature of the screen – you’ve got an excellent monitor for gaming.
Besides gaming, the Mi Curved Gaming Monitor is ideal for productivity use as well. After all, the wide nature of the display gives users a lot of screen real estate to work with. It’s also worth nothing that this panel covers 121% of the sRGB colour gamut; ideal for creative professionals, to an extent.
Another feature of the Mi Curved Gaming Monitor worth highlighting is its support for AMD’s FreeSync Premium technology. Basically, this feature will be able to eliminate screen tearing to further enhance your gaming experience. However, given that this is AMD’s technology, it will only work with Radeon graphics cards from the company.
The Xiaomi Mi Curved Gaming Monitor is now available for purchase in Malaysia at all Mi Stores nationwide. Alternatively, you can also get it online from Xiaomi’s official Lazada store, though it’s still out of stock at the time of writing.
