Asus officially launched the high-end, unique Asus ROG Zephyrus Duo 15 in Malaysia. Sporting two screens, a fast Nvidia RTX 2080 Super Max-Q GPU, as well as a sleek design, it is the Taiwanese company’s most ambitious gaming laptop yet. Not surprisingly, it comes with a price to match as well.

As we’ve previously reported, there are two variants of the Zephyrus Duo 15 for the Malaysian market. Both configurations retail at the same RM19,999 price point, with only the screen differentiating the two models: one features a sharp 15.6-inch 4K panel – this is also the configuration available for purchase right now – while the other comes with a faster 1080p panel with a 300Hz refresh rate.

Unfortunately, the Zephyrus Duo 15 with the more responsive 300Hz screen option will only be available in Malaysia by the end of September next month; you’ll have to wait just a bit more to get your hands on that configuration. Anyway, regardless of which display you go for, both are Pantone Validated panels with support for Nvidia’s G-Sync technology.

Besides the primary screen of the Zephyrus Duo 15, there’s also a smaller secondary ScreenPad Plus display right above the gaming laptop’s keyboard. It’s a 14.1-inch 3840 x 1100 touch-enabled panel, which is configured as an extension of the main display. It also props up at an angle when the lid is opened for better visibility of the screen.

Naturally, the Zephyrus Duo 15 also has some very beefy hardware under the hood. Its processor, for one, is Intel’s latest 10th generation Core i9-10980HK processor paired with 32GB of RAM and a whopping 2TB of SSD storage. This is also an overclockable chip, so you can squeeze even more processing power out of the Core i9 processor if you want to.

In the graphics department, the Zephyrus Duo 15 is powered by the very capable RTX 2080 Super Max-Q GPU. Together with the Core i9-10980HK processor, you can expect to get top-tier gaming performance out of this gaming laptop.

Even with all of these powerful hardware, the Zephyrus Duo 15 is still a surprisingly slim gaming laptop with a 20mm thin chassis. But tipping the scales at 2.4kg, this is not exactly a machine you’d want to lug around too often.

The Asus ROG Zephyrus Duo 15 is now available for purchase in Malaysia, but this is only the case for the 4K screen model.
