The new Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 series was launched globally just last week alongside the Galaxy Note 20 smartphones. At the time, Malaysian availability of the Tab S7 was not revealed, but we’ve got good reason to believe that the new Android tablet will be arriving here very soon.
As usual, we were going through SIRIM’s database when we saw that Samsung Malaysia registered a new device with the model number SM-T975 just today. After a little bit of digging, we found a support page for the Galaxy Tab S7+ with the very same model number on Samsung Australia’s website.
Chances are, the Galaxy Tab S7+ will be landing here in Malaysia very soon. While the standard Galaxy Tab S7 isn’t registered with SIRIM yet, we’re confident it will be launched alongside the higher-end Tab S7+ as well. After all, the product page for the Tab S7 is already up on Samsung Malaysia’s website.
Both the Galaxy Tab S7 and Tab S7+ are flagship tablets, so they’re packing some high-end hardware under the hood. These include a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865+ chip, 5G connectivity, and fast 120Hz screens. The Tab S7+ features a 12.4-inch 2800 x 1752 Super AMOLED display, while the Tab S7 has a slightly smaller 11-inch 2560 x 1600 IPS panel.
It remains to be seen exactly when the Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 series will be launched here in Malaysia, but given that the Tab S7+ has already been registered with SIRIM, we reckon it will be happening very soon.
