Acer has been releasing pretty unique gaming chairs over the past couple of years, and the latest one is the Acer Predator Gaming Chair x Osim. If you’re familiar with Osim, then you wouldn’t be surprised to learn that this is both a gaming chair and a massage chair; it’s really quite a peculiar product.

According to Acer, the Predator Gaming Chair features Osim’s V-Hand Massage Technology. This supposedly “emulates the agile hands of a professional masseuse on the user’s neck and shoulder,” and it allows the chair to perform massage techniques like kneading, pressing, rolling, and tapping. Curious, isn’t it?

As for the chair itself, it can recline 145-degree, and there are buttons on the right-side arm rest to control two sets of rollers. The position of the rollers can also be changed to accommodate the user’s shoulder position for maximum comfort, and the width can be adjusted to suit different body types.

Design wise, the Predator Gaming Chair does look like your conventional gaming chair with teal accents, and it’s made out of carbon fibre patterned PVC leather. On top of that, there are also two Bluetooth speakers built into the chair’s headrest. They are meant to “intensify gaming immersion without the hassle of a headset,” as Acer puts it.

At the moment, pricing and availability of the Acer Predator Gaming Chair x Osim have not been revealed yet, and it remains to be seen if it will ever be brought into Malaysia. Nonetheless, we do hope it will be made available here with a reasonable price tag – who doesn’t want to game in comfort?
