PlayStation Plus members are in for a treat this month. If you have an active subscription with the service, you can grab Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End for free tomorrow on 7 April. On top of that, the off-road racing game Dirt Rally 2.0 is available as a free download as well.

Of course, these two games are offered as PlayStation Plus’ free games for the month of April 2020. Currently, Shadow of the Colossus and Sonic Forces – along with Monster Hunter: World – are still available for download as part of last month’s free games. These two titles will be unavailable for download tomorrow, where they will be replaced by Uncharted 4 and Dirt Rally 2.0.

Out of the two games, Uncharted 4 is definitely the more exciting title. Not only does it mark the end of Nathan Drake’s journey – he’s the protagonist of the three prior games – it is also Naughty Dog’s latest work. At least, until The Last of Us Part II is out, which is currently delayed indefinitely.

Anyway, Uncharted 4 was released back in 2016, and its story is one of the game’s strongest suits. In fact, that’s what makes most of Naughty Dog’s games so compelling – the studio definitely knows a thing or two when it comes to storytelling. This entry in the franchise also introduces Nate’s older brother, Samuel Drake, which plays quite a big role in the game.

Speaking of which, before you jump into Uncharted 4, it’s highly recommended that you go through Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection – which includes the first three games in the franchise – first to get up to speed. This game was actually offered for free to PlayStation Plus subscribers back in January 2020.

Graphically, Uncharted 4 is a very gorgeous-looking game with sprawling landscapes, detailed character models, and overall, it just looks very polished and refined. These, complemented by the incredible voice acting of Nolan North and Troy Baker, really make this a must play game for anyone that owns a PlayStation 4 system.

Now that it’s offered as a free title for PlayStation Plus members, there’s no better time to dive into Uncharted 4 – provided you’ve played through the first three Uncharted titles to really take in the story.

Uncharted 4 and Dirt Rally 2.0 will be available for download tomorrow for every PlayStation Plus subscriber. Once you’ve redeemed these two games, they are yours to keep as long as you have an active subscription with the service.
