If you’re considering to get a new Honda car, good news: the Japanese car maker is offering up to RM10,000 discount on selected models for its March Special “3onus” promotion. These include the popular Honda City, Jazz, HR-V, CR-V, and even the fully-imported (CBU) Honda Odyssey MPV.
This promotion include 2019 and 2020 models, and as expected, the best deals are reserved for the former. The discounts are divided into three parts: a “thank you bonus,” March rebate, and an additional RM500 discount given either in cash form or a petrol card.
Let’s get to the discounts, starting with the 2019 models. The total savings start from RM4,000 for the petrol variants of the HR-V, and it goes up to RM4,500 for all trim levels of the CR-V. The compact B-segment hatchback, Jazz, on the other hand, gets RM5,000 discount. As for its sedan counterpart, the City, you can get RM6,000 in savings – that’s quite a bit of money. Lastly, there’s the Odyssey, which also receives RM6,000 discount.
If you want even more savings, consider the hybrid variants of the HR-V, City, and Jazz. The B-segment hybrid cars get RM9,000 in total savings, while the HR-V Hybrid receives a whopping RM10,000 discount. In fact, the HR-V Hybrid gets the highest amount of cashback in this promotion.
Not keen to get 2019 models? Then the discounts for the 2020 makes could catch your fancy. Naturally, these savings are not quite as generous, but they’re still quite attractive. Four 2020 models are discounted for this promotion: the CR-V, HR-V, City, and Jazz. Do note that there are no 2020 hybrid variants on offer for the latter three models.
So how much saving will you get for these 2020 models? It starts from RM2,000 for the HR-V, which goes up to RM2,500 for the compact Jazz. The City and CR-V, on the other hand, each receives RM3,000 in rebate. These total savings are the same across all trim levels for the respective four models.
Honda’s March Special 3onus promotion is currently ongoing, but do note that it is only applicable for vehicles registered in March 2020. These discounts are also only valid which stocks last, so you may want to act quickly to secure these savings.
Wondering why the Honda Civic facelift and new Honda Accord are not part of this promotion? Given that these two models were only launched a couple of weeks ago, it’s not much of a surprise.
