Initially unveiled back at Acer’s Next@Acer Global Press Conference in June, the rugged Acer Enduro N3 is now available in Malaysia. Despite its rugged nature, it is still surprisingly sleek. In fact, Acer touts this as the thinnest and lightest 14-inch laptop with an IP53 rating.
That’s right, the Enduro N3 is IP53-rated, so it is resistant to both dust and water to a certain extent. Tipping the scales at 1.99kg with a 24.85mm chassis – along with MIL-STD-810G certification – the N3 is also noticeably thinner and lighter than other rugged laptops.
Two variants of the Enduro N3 are available in Malaysia. The base model features an Intel Core i5-10210U processor paired with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of SSD storage for RM4,699, while the higher-end Core i7-10510U model with the same amount of RAM – but with a more generous 512GB SSD – goes for RM5,699.
Other specifications of the Enduro N3 include a 14-inch 1920 x 1080 IPS screen, up to 13 hours of battery life, reinforced corners to withstand drops, Corning Gorilla Glass to protect the display from water, and an “Aquafan” that repels water from all angles.
According to Acer Malaysia, the Acer Enduro N3 will be available for pre-order on its official website. If you need a rugged laptop for your work environment, consider the Enduro N3 – it’s far sleeker than other laptops in this segment.
