MSI just launched its latest Modern series productivity laptops in Malaysia, which is made up of the Modern 14 and Modern 15. Retailing from RM3,699, these two laptops with Intel’s latest Tiger Lake processors are pretty sleek-looking machines with some eye-catching colours.

For the Modern 14, only one variant of the laptop is available here. Retailing at RM4,499, it’s packed with a 14-inch 1080p screen, a Core i7-1165G7 processor paired with 16GB of RAM, 512GB of SSD storage, as well as an Nvidia GeForce MX450 dedicated GPU. It’s only offered in the Bluestone colourway at the moment, though MSI said more colour options will be available soon.

As for the Modern 15, two configurations are sold here. The more affordable model (RM3,699) features a Core i7-1165G7 processor paired with 8GB of RAM, 512GB of SSD storage, Intel Iris Xe integrated graphics, as well as a 15.6-inch 1920 x 1080 screen that covers 45% of the NTSC colour space.

The higher-end Modern 15, on the other hand, features similar hardware as the model above, but it has a better 15.6-inch Full HD screen that covers 72% of the NTSC colour space, just like the Modern 14. It also features a dedicated MX450 GPU for better graphics performance, all for RM4,399. In terms of colour choice, only the Carbon Grey option is available at the moment.
