Asus just introduced a whole range of laptops powered by Intel’s latest 11th generation Tiger Lake processors for the Malaysian market. These include the ZenBook 13, the ZenBook 14, the VivoBook 13, the VivoBook 14, as well as the VivoBook S15. If you’re looking to get a new productivity-focused laptop, consider these options.
Let’s start with the highest-end, sleekest offering of the lot, the ZenBook series. Both the ZenBook 13 and ZenBook 14 can be configured with a Core i5-1135 or Core i7-1165 processor paired with 8GB of RAM. The Core i5 variants of the two ZenBook laptops retail at RM3,999, while the Core i7 models cost RM4,699.
Beyond the different choice of processor, other hardware of the ZenBook 13 and ZenBook 14 are similar. They both have a 1920 x 1080 screen – 13.3-inch for the ZenBook 13, 14-inch for the ZenBook 14 – 512GB of SSD storage, and integrated Intel Iris Xe Graphics.
And then there’s the more affordable VivoBook S15, which is only offered in one variant for the Malaysian market. The sole configuration comes with a 15.6-inch 1080p screen, a Core i5-1135 processor paired with 8GB of RAM, 512GB of SSD storage, as well as Iris Xe Graphics for RM3,399.
Last but certainly not least is the most affordable laptops introduced today, the VivoBook 14 and VivoBook 15. Both models share the same hardware and pricing, which include a Full HD screen, a Core i5-1135 processor paired with 8GB of RAM, a 512GB SSD, and integrated Iris Xe Graphics for RM3,099.
Interestingly, the VivoBook 15 actually gets a second configuration for the local market. It has the same hardware as the aforementioned model, but it adds on a dedicated Nvidia GeForce MX350 GPU; ideal for those that want a little bit better graphics performance. Of course, you do have to pay slightly more (RM3,299) for this variant.
According to Asus, all of the laptops launched today will be available for purchase sometime this week. There will also be a “launch special” for these productivity laptops next week on 20 November from Shopee.
