September 29, 2020 Andrew Cheng

Lenovo just introduced one of its most exciting ThinkPad laptops in quite some time; enter the Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Nano. Weighing less than 1kg with up to 17.3 hours of battery life, the X1 Nano also features Intel’s latest Tiger Lake chips.

Tipping the scales at 962g, the ThinkPad X1 Nano is the lightest laptop to be released under the ThinkPad series of business-class notebooks. On top of that, it’s quite thin as well, measuring just 13.87mm thin. If you’re always on the go, you’d want a thin and light machine like this laptop.

Besides that, the X1 Nano also comes with Intel’s latest Tiger Lake chips. The highest-end configuration is equipped with the Core i7 processor from the series, and it can be paired with up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of fast PCIe SSD; good storage capacities for most folks.

Other specifications of the X1 Nano include Intel Iris Xe integrated graphics, a 13-inch 2160 x 1350 screen with 100% sRGB colour coverage – there are touch and non-touch options – a 48WHr battery that promises up to 17.3 hours of battery life, and an IR camera with a physical ThinkShutter.

The Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Nano is set to be available sometime in the fourth quarter of 2020 with a starting price of $1,399 – that comes up to about RM5,815. No word yet on the Malaysian availability of the X1 Nano.
