Even though the Samsung Galaxy S10 series is just around the corner, the Korean company’s Galaxy S9 smartphones are still plenty capable flagship devices. If you’re not interested to get the latest and greatest smartphone, you may want to check out these deals: both the Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ are discounted heavily now.

Let’s start with the more affordable Galaxy S9. Originally retailing at RM3,299, the standard S9 model with 64GB of storage and 4GB of RAM can now be bought for merely RM2,099. That’s RM1,200 worth of savings right there, and this deal is available on both Lazada and Shopee.

The Shopee listing is particularly interesting. Not only is it a Preferred seller, which allows you to use Shopee coins and exclusive promotions with this particular retailer, several freebies are also bundled with the deal. These include a Bluetooth speaker, a 32GB microSD card, and a USB-C cable.

Things get a lot more interesting with the Galaxy S9+. The 64GB variant with 6GB of RAM, which used to go for RM3,799 at launch, is now available for RM2,459 on Lazada. This saves you a grand total of RM1,340, and it’s available in Lilac Purple, Coral Blue, and Midnight Black.

But the best deal is for the Galaxy S9+ with 128GB of storage and 6GB of RAM. It went for RM3,999 at launch, and now, it’s going for only RM2,488 on Shopee – that’s a whopping RM1,511 discount, and you can get it in Lilac Purple, Sunrise Gold, or Midnight Black.

Of course, all of the listings mentioned here are original Malaysian sets with warranty from Samsung Malaysia. From what we can gather, stocks are limited too. While the Galaxy S9 phones will be succeeded by the S10 series at the end of this month, they’re still worth getting, especially at these price points.
