HP Spectre x360 Convertible Laptop With 11th Gen Intel CPU Now in Malaysia From RM5,699

HP just launched the new HP Spectre x360 convertible laptop with Intel’s latest 11th generation processors here in Malaysia. Both the Spectre x360 13 and Spectre x360 14 are available locally, and given that these are premium products, they have equally premium price tags too.

Two variants of the Spectre x360 13 are offered here. The base model – which retails at RM5,699 – comes with a Core i5-1135G7 processor paired with 8GB of RAM and 512GB of SSD storage. The higher-end RM6,899 variant, on the other hand, features a faster Core i7-1165G7 processor with twice the amount of RAM and SSD capacities at 16GB and 1TB respectively.

Regardless of which variant you get, both models feature a 13.3-inch 1920 x 1080 touch-enabled screen that covers 100% of the DCI-P3 colour gamut and integrated Intel Iris Xe graphics.

And then there’s the slightly bigger Spectre x360 14. Just like the previous model, two variants are available for our local market. The RM6,099 base model features a Core i5-1135G7 processor paired with 8GB of RAM and a generous 1TB SSD. The more powerful Core i7-1165G7 model, on the other hand, costs RM7,099 with 16GB of RAM and the same 1TB SSD.

Naturally, the Spectre x360 14 has a bigger screen than the Spectre x360 14. It comes with a 13.5-inch 1920 x 1080 touch-enabled screen with HP’s Sure View technology. Basically, it’s an integrated screen privacy feature; when the screen is viewed at an angle, the content will not be visible. Of course, this laptop also runs on an Iris Xe integrated GPU.

Both the HP Spectre x360 13 and Spectre x360 14 are now available for purchase in Malaysia. More information can be found on HP’s Malaysian online store.

Update 29 January, 5PM: This article previous states that the Spectre x360 13 has an OLED screen, but we were just told that the Malaysian market will not receive this display option. However, it’s worth noting that HP’s Malaysian online store is still listing the OLED screen in the product page of the Spectre x360 13.
